"The luster on these pearls is unreal — and the gold clasp feels substantial. I've worn the strand almost every day since it arrived."

◆Our story
Real pearls.
Everyday prices.
Prestige Pearl was started with a simple idea — real pearl jewelry shouldn't sit in a drawer waiting for a wedding or an anniversary.
We focus on classic pearl essentials, selected for luster and nacre quality, then priced honestly. Every strand is hand-strung on silk thread with a knot between each pearl, finished in solid 14kt gold or sterling silver, and shipped from Montréal.
Classic pearls that feel just as natural with a white tee as they do dressed up.
◆Our standard
Six factors. No exceptions.
Every pearl that makes it into a Prestige Pearl piece is assessed across the same six quality factors — luster above all else.
Luster
The first thing you notice and the last thing that fades. We grade luster above all other factors.
Nacre
Thicker nacre means a stronger, longer-lived pearl. We don't carry thin-nacre pieces, regardless of size or price.
Shape
From perfectly round to baroque — selected for symmetry and visual balance, not impossible perfection.
Surface
Minor "birthmarks" are natural and normal. We screen for clarity and minimal blemishes on every piece.
Size
Matched within a strand, listed clearly on every product page. No marketing rounding, no surprises.
Color
Natural overtones, never dyed or color-treated. The color you see online is the color in your hand.
◆Our pearls
Four varieties. One standard.
We carry four cultured pearl varieties — each hand-selected for what actually matters: luster, nacre, surface, and fit.
Akoya
Japan
Classic white. Brilliant, mirror-like luster. The pearl most people picture when they hear the word.
Freshwater
China
The everyday workhorse. Versatile shapes, natural colors, and a softer luster — built for daily wear.
Tahitian
French Polynesia
Naturally dark. Peacock, grey, aubergine — colors that no other pearl produces.
South Sea
Australia & Indonesia
The largest and rarest. White or naturally golden. The pearl you grow into.
◆Why our pricing is different
Real pearls. Honest pricing.
Most pearl jewelry passes through three or four hands before it reaches you. We cut the chain.
Direct sourcing
We work with farms in Japan, China, French Polynesia, and Australia — not through importers and resellers.
Lean by design
Online-first, shipped from Montréal. No flagship stores, no display cases, no showroom markup.
Fair margins
Department-store quality, priced for what it actually costs to make — not what the market thinks you'll pay.
◆What's in every order
Quality you can feel — and verify.
Every order ships with the same standards, no matter the price point. No imitation pearls. No plated brass. No surprises.
Genuine cultured pearls
Akoya, Freshwater, Tahitian, South Sea. Never imitation, simulated, or shell.
Solid 14kt or sterling
Real metals, clearly listed. No base metal or plated brass in our fine collection.
Hand-strung on silk
Knotted between every pearl — the traditional finish, and the right one.
1 year warranty
Every piece is covered for one year against manufacturing defects.
◆What customers say
Trusted by pearl wearers across Canada.
"I was hesitant about buying real pearls online, especially at this price. They arrived knotted on silk, beautifully boxed, and exactly as described."
"Bought a Freshwater bracelet for my daughter's graduation. The packaging alone made it feel like a serious gift. She hasn't taken it off."

◆Common questions
Quick answers.
Are your pearls real?
Yes — every pearl we carry is a genuine cultured pearl. We specialize in Akoya, Freshwater, Tahitian, and South Sea, each hand-selected for luster, nacre quality, and surface. We never sell imitation, simulated, or shell pearls.
Where do you ship from, and how fast?
All orders ship from Montréal, Québec. Free shipping across Canada on orders over $100. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, with Canadian delivery typically arriving in 3–7 business days.
We also ship to the United States and select international destinations.
What metals do you use?
Solid 14kt gold, sterling silver, or gold vermeil — depending on the piece. The metal is clearly listed on every product page. We don't use base metal or plated brass in our fine pearl collection.
Can pearls really be worn every day?
Yes — particularly Freshwater and Akoya. With basic care (perfume and hairspray on first, pearls on last; wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear), the natural oils from your skin actually enhance a pearl's luster over time.
What's your return policy?
60-day returns on eligible items, provided they're unworn and in original packaging. Custom or bespoke orders are final sale. If anything arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days with photos and we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Do you offer custom or bespoke pieces?
Yes — we work with clients on custom pearl jewelry for engagements, anniversaries, and gifts. Get in touch through our contact page with your request, and we'll discuss options, timeline, and pricing.
